Oh look..

...I guess maybe we're not dealing with "mini-controversies" anymore.

New Orleans mayoral candidate Troy Henry sued by former business partner

Funny how there's no mention of the B3 lawsuit.

Can perry be disqualified for lying on the financial disclosure? he claims to own 100 percent of henry consultants, but the plaintiff says henry only owns 60 percent. what other lies has henry told. zombie, please start a list. i am sure lots of other things are about to surface about this crook

Troy Henry needs to drop out of the race to cope with his personal shit.

If he doesn't, that makes it darn clear he's in this for himself and for his ego.

The last thing a struggling city needs is a Mayor who comes into the job with this kind of garbage swirling around him.

If you want to vote for a black guy, cast your bleeping vote for bleeping Perry.

Henry, not Perry, appears to have lied on his financial disclosure forms, anon 1.

In last Mayoral Debate on City Management, Henry said that he had a "subcontract" from the City of New Orleans that total $9,000. I think he's lying or trying to mislead the public again.

If Henry Consultants was a subcontractor then the "City of New Orleans" would not be listed as a source of income on his financial disclosure statements. The "Prime" contractor would be listed as the source of income. So I ask the question:

Is Henry trying to hide who he worked for as a subcontractor (if so, why?) or is he trying to downplay the fact that he had a contract with the City of New Orleans by characterizing it as a subcontract???

Also, Henry has not disclosed contracts/subcontracts or interest he has in contracts with other public entities either. What about the work he performs at the Airport and Sewerage and Water Board? Are the Citizens getting their dollars worth from Henry's performance on these contracts?

yeah he KEEPS lying to cover up his original lies. What the fuck is a "subcontract" with the City of New Orleans? You're either contracted by them or you're not.

What's next? I didn't steal money from my business partners to finance my campaign....I "moved" it.

I do own my whole company....I own a 100% of my %.

I think this guy is reading from the Ray Nagin handbook.

Or drinking the Ray Nagin koolaid.

Tougher conflict of interest standards are much needed, and so is a cadre of City lawyers who are 100% free of such conflicts.

So lets say Hell Freezes over and Henry is Mayor. What happens to those companies of his and to the contracts (or subcontracts)?

Does he get out of the companies on paper, letting someone else run them, letting them keep their city work?

Do they get to bid on new work?

What happens if some problem with the work they did comes up when Henry is Mayor?

He'd be on both sides of that fight, and that is a conflict of interest.

Zombie, you are the best.
