Oil encroaching on Port Fourchon

Yesterday, Steve Wolfram and I traveled to Port Fourchon to shoot some HD footage. Steve was able to go out in an airboat, west of Grand Isle and get shots of the oil spill intruding into the delicate marsh area around Fourchon. Video will be posted soon on Humid Beings....in the meantime here are some stills:

Steve also shot a family of Dolphins in the marsh...should be some good footage.

My birthplace is being destroyed by a foreign company. If this was done by a foreign country, it would be considered at act of war!!!

So, it's time to take action... sign the petition to seize BP's assets: http://www.seizebp.org/

Don't let these criminal bastards off the hook!!

PS. I hope BP's CEO had a nice fucking birthday... NOT!!!

All of this is so heartbreaking. There aren't enough words to express the anger I feel.

I am almost at a loss of words. I went to bp’s website to see if they had a area to submit ideas. I found their plan for the riser insertion tube. I was excited at first since my idea was sort of like balloon angioplasty just leave that balloon inflated to stop the flow, but as I read their idea isn't to stop the leak, they are trying to siphon it off to a ship to be later processed. This thing is just insane, someone at bp is coming up with ideas to try and savage this well, instead of using their effort to shut the fucking thing off.

Here a link to their plan, I assume that this is what they are currently working on.
