I'm not sure about their currency but as a blogger and reader of web site Slabbed.org, which was taken down yesterday by a Canadian judgment alleging defamation, I'll say their legal system as far as freedom of speech and opinion goes seems worse than some ex-communist countries.
Kind of queer, isn't it?
I agree, Slabbed.org should not have been taken down by a Canadian ruling. This is a dispute between American citizens brought before a Canadian Judge, when all the alleged slander and libel took place on American soil. Why is Mr. Broussard not under a libel lawsuit now for his role in telling Val Bracey he had sister properties with this fishing lodge? Those are the types of questions Slabbed blog keeps asking and should be free to continue asking.
