Arrogance is in?

We'll see how long that fad lasts...

Zombie Zone

I'm telling you....he is sadly, blindly misjudging the blowback these underhanded actions are going to have.  Landrieu is about to lose the support of the neighborhoods and citizens of this city in a period where we could have moved forward together.  He has pitted himself against the citizens of this city and allied himself with the plantation owners....this did not have to happen like this.  He could have listened to the people, he could have sought compromise, he could have been a uniter.

Instead he flexed his muscles and cried war against our neighborhoods and citizens.  He asked for it...he's going to get it.

Back to the drawing board

Providing the utmost visitor experience is an understandable and feasible goal but not an excuse to push through bad legislation.
Again, there’s still time for those wiling to work on a compromise.

That's all we've ever asked for...and we never got it.

Could I suggest a life changing idea for you and your family ... move out of New Orleans ... it's been a dying city the day it was decided to keep it alive by diverting the course of the Mississippi River ...

Unlike you, I was born and raised in the French Quarter and have accepted this reality ... all the money in the Federal Treasury will not change the schools, the crime or the inbred corruption ...

The New Orleans metropolitan area (which includes Jefferson, St.Bernard, and Plaquemines Parishes) could accurately be described as New Haiti, a Fourth World province within the boundary of the United States....

Hmmm ... maybe Broussard was on to something when pleading on TV that this "New Haiti" should succeed. At least the taxpayers in the rest of the Union would get some relief !!! But the again maybe Broussard was thinking how to siffon off foreign aid !!!
