Upon an anonymous lead I received on Wisner 2.O., I spent the day going through campaign finance reports for Mayor Landrieu from 2010 through 2012.
In the past year, Mayor Landrieu accrued $755,882.10 in campaign contributions.
As anonymous suggested, I tallied the contributions that were made by the JV/PSC attorneys and/or their family members (please note that these are only the family members I was able to positively identify) to Mayor Landrieu in the past year, 2012.
In case you didn't read 2.0, these are the JV/PSC law firms:
Herman, Herman, Katz and Cotlar
Fayard and Honeycutt
Domengeaux, Wright, Roy & Edwards
I came up with approximately $71,100 donated by the PSC/JV attorneys from the total 2012 amount of $755,882. That would put the PSC/JV attorneys' contributions at nearly 10% of the mayor's campaign contributions for 2012.
I may have missed some of the attorney's relatives, I invite all to check the records and the math.
No commentary here...I'm just performing the requested tasks to the best of my ability.
