Boom...goes the dynamite!

Civil district court judge, Ethel Simms Julien, has just ruled that the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau IS subject to public records requests.

Hang tight....I got some dirt I'm about to dump on ya.  You're gonna love this.

ummm..no. Humid City broke the story, and you stole it from them. There were no media reporters on scene, and only one blogger. That blogger wasn't you.

What? What the fuck are you talking about? I'm not breaking anything....I will tell you the entire history of the CVB though...you want that? Do you want me to explain to you how many attempts there have been to liberate info from the CVB through public records requests? Do you even know what to look for if you were to file the PRR? Do you?

If you think I'm trying to dis Humid City perhaps you should talk to the editor.

Loki? Am I trying infringe on your world?

I'm up right now...if you think I'm trying to "steal" anything from you, you are more than welcome to address me in real time.

I didn't get the information from HC. I got it directly from the law firm filing the petition.

You know why? I'd be happy to explain to you if you're curious.

I'm hearing the malfeasance at the NOCVB is actually 100xs worse than that of the OPSO and Judicial Expense fund combined. Some even say if you think Bridger at the railroad and Galvan at the coroners office were worthy of federal charges then wait until you see the expenditures at this place. The public is going to flip a switch.

HumidCity reported on the court case, but the case would not have come to court without the Zombie and his long term work on the subject. There is NO animosity between the two.

While I appreciate the anonymous commenter for coming to our defense, it was a mistake. Since I am the founder and evil overlord of HumidCity I think I know what I'm talking about.

Loki and the Zombie are long time friends and collaborators. In no way would either of us attempt to undermine the other. Period.

I am not surprised by Judge Julien's decision. She is one of the best judges on the Civil District Court.
