Just watched Morgan Freeman's "Prom Night in Missippippi." Great stuff.
I loved the use of stills in the film...very good editing.
What I loved most about it is that it reminds us that progress isn't easy...or even pretty. It can be as akward as a white boy trying to dance (which was indeed painful to watch)...but its always better to dance than sit in the corner and do nothing.
I give it a 9 out of 10.
I have a Yes Men Fix the World review as well...but I want to watch it again before I write that.

I watched the Prom Night in Mississippi documentary this weekend and it was well done.
I like the documentaries:
- enron: the smartest guys in the room
- when we were kings: for the boxing fans
- grizzly man: for those of you looking to see what happens when you insert yourself onto a lower rung of the food chain (dumbass)

We were watching Suze Orman randomly, which the fiane loved and I like Dave Ramsey, but it wasn't until we really started looking at what it would cost for the wedding and honeymoon with the things "other people" (her family) wanted did we put on the brakes.
We just happened to pick this up the weekend we had been discussing it and used it as a springboard into deciding to get debt free.
We had a great wedding and honeymoon that we paid for in cash and even though I hate her Mazda, the damn thing won't die and I hate having a care note even more.
I truly believe alot of what's wrong with this country could be fixed through mass education for grown ups and children on proper methods of handling money, understanding very basic economics and a push to change the culture back to our parents tradition of delayed gratification.
