In today' article that number has dropped to $69,000.
Which is it?
I'm not busting balls, I just want to know if Odom is pulling numbers out of his hat or if we're talking about two completely separate computer systems.....or what. 69k for 33 people is not "extravagant". ...690k....that deserves some splainin'.
And how did Tracie Washington get into this? How does Tracie get into everything for that matter?
Once again...from the moment this office was created, there are people who have been attempting to bring it down. I am curious if Odom is just pissed and attempting to throw the anchor chain around the neck of the entire department or if there is a larger effort to discredit the OIG.
UPDATE: Somehow...I completely missed this article. Actually I know how I missed it...because NOLA.com really needs to reconsider how they are indexing stories and how what's printed in the TP is translated to the website....just my two cents.

Well, this might seem a bit far-fetched but reading on Nola.com the related articles on the OIG I am getting the impression that there is a push underway to completely discredit the office in order to prevent its investigation into city contract fraud.
This article might give you an idea of who I suspect of being a major motivator, if not the chief orchestrator of said push:
Well, of course. But...back to Odom's motivation...is this just piss and vinegar or has he been influenced by the Naginites or other forces?
