He's really frikkin' smart and he's not your typical run of the mill Baton Rouge rebubbakin. I think he gets the big picture of the economic engine of the state. He also loves New Orleans and that's saying something for a Baton Rougian.
I like him...and until Melancon actually emerges from his crawfish hole and says something original, I'm digging Dardene.
