Is BP Faking the Moon Landing?

The information out on the intertubes and coming into my blog is off the chart on both ends.

I have a theory...which is most likely as wrong as John Georges at an OPDEC event...but I pose it anyway.

I think the video feed of the "top kill" we're watching and waiting on is propaganda. I think what we're watching is an attempt to stop "a" leak. I fear the situation may be much, much, much worse than what we're being told.

I think the top kill may be an attempt to put a field goal on the score board and get the crowd back in the game, but we are still multiple touchdowns behind.

Read between the lines on this Obama comment, "It should greatly reduce or eliminate the flow of oil on the sea floor, and if it's not successful there are other approaches that MAY be viable." That is a hedged bet if I've ever seen one...and believe me I've seen hedged bets.

What these guys are suggesting goes a long way to explaining the inconsistencies between the empirical evidence we're seeing and what BP is telling us.

Top Kill may become the new metaphor for Red Herring in a couple of weeks. I'm gonna go out on a limb and start using it asap.

Funny you should use the moon landing metaphor. I was thinking the Top Kill effort should cork the Macondo with this.

I don't even know what to think or feel at this point. Thanks for keeping your heart engaged in witnessing this.

What? Top Kill a red herring? It won't work?? You should check this out: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/37368377#37368377

It's a comparison between Ixtoc I and Macondo from the Rachel Maddow show.

The President lack of focus on this oil spill is an "Obamanation!"

Kudos to CNN's Larry King for coining this term.

Math isn't my strong thing, but a mile of 21" pipe can't hold that much oil. A lot, sure, but how many gallons, barrels is that? A few galls a foot is still only 10,000 or 15,000 gallons.

one mile = 36,360" x 21" diameter = 1,330,560 cubic inches or slightly less than 183 barrels of oil or 7683 gallons. (I think. I suck at math too.)

The Coast Guard Marine Safety School in York Town Va, taught us that the bird and feather people were our enemy and that the marine and oil industries were our friends.

That why I said when this first happen not to trust any of them.
In my opinion I still wouldnt trust any of them.

And I'll bet a dime to a dollar that these high ranking CG officer wind up working for eithe BP or one of the clean-up companies after this.

As for another leak, I wouldnt put it past them to lie to us about it, I also wouldnt put it past them to try and wizzle out of it.

Lets face it sheep people america is run by big corp.
Rember what BP rep. said the LITTLE PEOPLE.

I read a really good bumper sticker the orther day

QUIT BITCHEN AND START A REVOLUTION I BELIVE WERE GETTING CLOSE TO THIS.
