My mailbox is quite active this morn. Lot's of info. coming in on the Bajoie clan and non-profit organizations they are connected with that own a shit load of property throughout central city. I'm trying to sort it out now.
In the meantime, Here is a list of liens against 12th Ward SOCO.
How can an organization receive federal and state tax dollars if they have outstanding liens? I thought that was illegal. Am I missing something here?

That prohibition is on receiving dollars from the City, which may come from the State or Fed, as a pass through. If it comes directly from the State of City then it would depend on program rules whether or not an entity that hadn't paid its sales and use taxes or had liens on property could receive the funds. I'm not immediately aware of any grants that require applicants to provide that information.
