Just for clarification, Fracfocus - the site this list is drawn from - is a registry of chemicals which have been voluntarily submitted to the site by fracking companies or those which they have been forced to disclose by regulation. From the site's "About" page:

"The chemical data presented on this site has been submitted on a voluntary or regulatory basis by the participating oil and gas companies listed on the Links page who have agreed to disclose the information in the public interest."

They can still hold back ingredients under trade secrets. Also form the "About" page:

"The listing of a chemical as proprietary on the fracturing record is based on the “Trade Secret” provisions related to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) found on the above link at 1910.1200(i)(1)."

A better presentation of the data - such as it is - is at Skytruth:

http://frack.skytruth.org/fracking-chemical-database

This past March, the Energy Department took a look at FracFocus and found widespread invoking of trade secrets by companies:

"84 % of the registered wells invoked a trade secret exemption"
