DHECC - zombie stalking

IBM Report:  Independent journalist covering BP case investigated over leaked emails

Wonderful...they're running full background checks on me?  They could have just contacted St. Pierre and Meffert, they already investigated me and it could have saved them a ton of money.  I'm assuming this report must have cost a ton of money if IBM conducted it.

I'll expound on the report later.

About eight months ago I was told one of the PSC attorneys had hired a private investigation firm to follow me.  I didn't worry about it too much because I don't have anything to hide.  I don't know if it is true but if it is I hope they got some tips from my amazing golf swing considering that's about the extent of my life other than work and family.

I can't decide if the whole thing is ridiculous or worrisome.  I'll sleep on it and let you know.

Based on the displayed incompetence of the CA, PSC, BP and FG, I vote for ridiculous.

Between Juneau's lawyers, the Freeh Group, IBM, McGladry and who knows what else, it seems like a significant amount of the CA's budget over the past year has been spent on cya instead of claimants.

Herndon, Virginia ... sounds familiar for some reason ...

PJ (and others) got busier than a cat covering shit after those emails surfaced!

IMHO, as was suspected and discussed on the AZ awhile back, there was an intentional effort beginning in September 2012 to manipulate and inflate the total compensation amount and claim acceptance numbers presented by PJ and the Parties at the Fairness Hearing in November 2012. What was presented to the court at the Fairness Hearing was not representative of how the claims process and payments actually worked.

PJ, BP and the PSC all seem to admit this in the recent "Remove Juneau" pleadings filed with the court. None better than PJ's:

"Throughout this start-up period, the Parties exerted pressure on the CAO and the Vendors
to process and pay as many claims as possible before the November 1, 2012 opt-out deadline and
the November 8, 2012 fairness hearing."

Lucky for you we have anti-SLAPP laws in this state.

Jason,I wouldn't worry about your safety any as I think they are looking at trying to find compromising social/sexual skeletons which they could possibly black mail you into a deal to get off their asses. Then again if the worse thing you have ever done is chronically slice on the golf course you should beware of artificially created sexual propositions which seem too good to be true and too hard to resist. An analogy would be the ole' artificially created flat tire to video an alleged plaintiff with back trouble changing his tire.

Why would I be worried about a defamation suit? Everything I've reported had been backed up with documentation and/or 1st party sources. Juneau is going to sue me for reposing the truth?

...has been backed up....

...sue me for reporting.....

I've been without internet access for about 3 days, trying to run shit from my phone. Sorry for typos.

If all else fails maybe you can lobby for Monica Lewinsky to help you fight cyber bullying.

Jason Brad Berry said...

I'll keep that in mind but so far nothing has "failed". Every allegation I've made against them has been proven true. I'll keep my options open with Lewinsky though just because I like non-fiction.

...and hummers...i like those too.

Keep up the great work!!! It seems that real journalism is almost dead, nice to see some for a change.
I will say that for the $600,000,000 "Common Benefit Bribe" er, I mean "Fund" to be allowed to exist as it is structured, demonstrates that the victims are being victimized again. It is the biggest conflict of interest i have ever seen!
This Class Settlement is so bad it is indefensible. We would be much better off being allowed to litigate our claims straight up. BP would start settling these cases in a hurry if that was the case. Why wont Judge Barbier send the opt out cases back to the courts they were filed in? Is there a legitimate reason?

The one criminal case that has frightened me, for the victim, more than any other is
stalking.
