Medical marijuana works for many diseases and treatments extremely well. The side-effects are not nearly as bad as with pain pills and there are no drug interactions with it. It is a travesty that it is a political issue!
Law enforcement, private prisons and drug companies stand to lose big if passed, that's why it won't pass. Republicans and corporate Dems don't want to piss off these donors!
