On a day when the humidity drops...

Humid Beings comes out of Beta...in about an hour that is.

It's funny cause I was just about to write a rather lengthy post on Iran per Reza Aslan's persepective but the site will showcase Aslan's speech he gave about Iran while he was here for the Faulkner society event. It's broken up into 5 segments (video) but its worth every second you spend on it if you really want to understand the dynamics of the Iranian political climate.

There is so much misinformation and misunderstanding in regards to Iran and their role in the Middle East and the world stage, this video segment will go a long way to providing a better understanding of what is really going on in the country.

After his presentation, I interviewed him about his connections to New Orleans (he has a house in the FQ)....he's a true Nawlin's fan.

Check it out...and congratulations to HB for getting the plane off the ground.

The site looks great.

I had a hard time figuring out how to get to the videos. I got the first segment to play, then I could only get the fifth segment.

Did anyone else have that problem, or do I need to get my eleven year old neighbor to come over to help me again?

Damn kids and their fancy machines. I remember when bread cost a nickel.

and people paid for news. Yeah they have some bugs to work out, but it's brand spanking new so give it some time....it will get better. Its no small feat to launch a site this extensive on minor budget...they did an excellent job with it so far.

I did figure out how to get to the rest of the videos.

It was easier to access them after I had successfully created an account or profile thing-a-ma-whosit for myself.

If anyone else has the problem I had, try that and see if it works for you.

The talk was so interesting it was worth all the farting about.
