Hey! It's my fuckin' birthday!

And aside from that I'm anxiously awaiting Sean Hecker's dossier on the McGladrey whistleblower scandal.

Sean had some negative reviews in the previous post, still, I anxiously await his audit of the audit.

What's the fucking verdict, Sean?

Happy belated birthday!

An audit of the audit? That's so sad when you think of it considering that the CSSP has its own internal audit function, as well as court appointed auditors of the auditors.

I don't see how an external audit of their (McGladrey) own botched audit will accomplish anything...

I'll give you a really good reason. If they depose McNamee and he tells them that Pat Juneau told him he could bill to the excessive amount they did to the DHECC guess what happens? Juneau gets charged with fraud and BP takes 12+ million out of Juneau's arse.

That...would definitely accomplish something.

Solid point.

Who would depose McNamee? And if he did get deposed, would he be asked the right questions anyway?

Don't count on anything substantive coming from McNamee internal investigation. What needs to happen is BP needs to depose him...and not Louis Freeh.

Louis Freeh does kind of an interpretive dance interview/depostion kind of thingie and then "prosecutes" people from the evidence that is apparent only to him and his imagination. It's a great multi-million dollar gig if you can get it.

McGladrey had some sort of partnership with H&R Block between 1999 and August 2011. Do you think any claimants used tax returns prepared in 2007-2010 by H&R Block? Would that present some sort of conflict?

Maybe H&R Block can help BP get their billions back...
